More about signing up for a whole session

The Music Together^® research suggests that it can take about 6 weeks for children to fully acclimate to the program, and we want to give them at least that opportunity.

Registering for a session is a commitment to your child and your musical community (aka class) that you will show up (reasonably) consistently to participate in this activity. Since the Music Together approach is non-performative, the participation of the group is essential to create the experience, and each member of the group is important. 

Educators and parents know that consistency is everything for young children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Coming to class regularly, as a routine, allows the child to predict and understand the environment and culture of music class. Within this safety net, they can relax and absorb information.

Additionally, a pillar of the Music Together curriculum is the song collection provided each session. This award-winning music, which the whole family will enjoy, sets us truly apart from other early childhood music programs. Familiarity with the songs in the collection, which only happens with time and repetition, allows the most benefit to unfold.
